The fifth graders at Hammond Elementary, where Jake attends school, did an awesome job raising money for Team Jake for their fifth grade service project. The fifth graders raised a total of $2,303.10 for diabetes research! The story was picked up by The Tampa Tribune, Northwest Edition and Bay News 9, who honored Jacob and the fifth graders in their Everyday Hero segment, which aired on April 27th.
